TESTIMONIAL: INSOMNIA

3/19/2002

I am a 50 year old woman who has been diagnosed with bipolar I disorder. I have had episodes since I was a child, getting progressively worse until getting the proper diagnosis and medical treatment in 1996. In summer of 2001 I had a very bad depressed episode that medication couldn’t break and I turned to Dr. Clayton and hypnotherapy. It took two sessions, but it returned me to “normal”.

Being a “rapid-cycler”, several weeks later, while preparing for my son’s wedding, I cycled into a mixed episode. Again, medicine would not break the episode so I turned to Dr. Clayton and, again, it took two sessions to break the episode (just a few days).

Through all of this I had to turn to an anti-anxiety agent to get any decent sleep/rest, this medication is very addictive. Again I turned to Dr. Clayton to help me get off it. It only took one session for this. I will definitely go to Dr. Clayton in the future should I encounter another episode that proves resistant at all to meds. I hope this helps even one person to find relief.
